Work on Cawdor.

I started with what the cool-kids call a "xenithal highlight."  Its what us artists call "a highlight."  Anyways.  I did that with black airbrush primer, white airbrush primer, and then I glopped in a dollop of white ink for another pass.  I'm not quite sure why, but the ink seems to gather in the crevasses, like in-between the boot textures on this fella.  I dunno.  I'll make it work.

I decided to start laying on simple thin base coats.  Flat, and plain.

These I will follow up with some watercolors, and probably some contrast paints.  I have more basecoating to do.
