The continuing story of US Marshall Jude and Gunslinger Esmirelda Patience: the two intrepid adventurers entered into the mine tonight looking for a big cache of dark stone. Not a si for clue was found, however the two were met with heavy resistance-- multiple swarms of tentacles, stranglers, void spiders and night terrors beset them, ambushing with frequency and ferocity.

With the darkness closing in, their wits almost broken and Jude bleeding heavily from a terrible tangle with tentacles, they fled the mines, dashing into the late afternoon sunset.

Surely they had stirred up some horrible creatures who followed them on their heels, pausing only to wait until darkness and terrorize the nearest frontier town.
