STORMTROOPERS. Complete, I've got 18 of them but only one Sgt. , two meltas and two plasma guns. I think they'll start as a ten-man plasma deep strike team, accompanying my marines into the backfield for anti-infantry support.

I got this for my birthday... Suggestions as to what to do with it are encouraged. I'm actually overwhelmed.

well? That was a ok!  Not bad for a start, a small smattering of basic movie tropes, but this film did what Star Wars is good at doing:  Tie Fighters, X-Wings, planetary destruction, countdown sequences, sword fights.

Kids and Hobby.

I just welcomed a baby girl into our household Tuesday morning. Robin and I have been painting miniatures in the basement with the extra time off. This little accidental composition suggests a terrible accident in progress. I can't stop looking at it every time I head past the workbench.

Stormtroopers: I'm still working on these guys, using really unconventional (for me) methods, a lot of watercolor washes and low-lighting. I'm hoping for a spectacular conclusion when I dry brush highlights. Right now they're a bit muddy all over.

Undecided on the boots.
