Hobby Challenge: I've got a game at Joe's coming up on Friday. Let's get this predator table ready! As a bonus, maybe the three servitors in the background.

Never mind the ratlings to the right- more on them later.

Creation of a Home World, (but really next room over to the home world, but can maybe be a second game room).

All of my hobby time has been spent running a traveller, extending boxes, linking circuits and moving others. Can lights installed, ceiling panelling stapled up. Not the most glorious of renovations, but a bit more aesthetically tolerable.

Next hobby step is to score some space marine bodies (maybe six) and I have the possibility of fielding the whole company.

Battle Demi Company Armored Task Force

I've finally pointed out 2k of my marines into a Battle Company formation with the attached Armored Task Force. It is a really interesting thing to build, since I couldn't just tack on a stormtalon to defend against air (making me buy flakk missiles) and some other things I wanted as well. I've got four combat squads, two of which are riding in lascannon Razorbacks, one tactical squad on the drop pod, and a speeder led by a chaplain. They've got a squad of dreads with them, too. The armored task force is Chronos in an annihilator and three predators of various Builds and a Master of the Forge tech marine with three stock servitors.

A reader asked if I put solid coats of paint over these thin base coats I've been doing. Yes, I do! Thanks for asking. I'm taking some time with the exact colors, but here is where I'm heading with these guys, more detail will be added, but you can see how the base washes show through on the lowest layers.

First four Marines Errant with somewhat successful transfers. I'll put more paint on them, once I get a few more done.
