BASECOATING some storm troopers. Beginning with permanent green, a touch of blue and some gloss gel dissolved in water. A nice minty green that will muddy up great with alizarin crimson later.
I know you've shown us a little of how you paint your minis in an earlier post (was that, like, 2 years ago?) but do you ever use more solid layers? Or is it more like a handful of complimentary and contrasting translucent 'washes?'
